The 45cm lever-wound cylinder with drum, six butterfly striking bells, castanet, and organ, with six cylinders each playing ten airs, the movement with start / stop and change / repeat levers with slow / fast control and separate controls for drums, bells and castanet, the tune indicator stamped 'D. ALLARD & JAQUET / Manufacturers / Geneva Switzerland', bearing the serial number to the bedplate and tune sheet, the movement under an internal glass cover, in a quarter-veneered walnut case with gilt bronze carrying handles to the sides resting on a conforming table stand, its two fall-front frieze drawers fitted to accommodate additional cylinders (of which six are present), the original tune sheet pinned to the underside of the cover
