Circa 1760, the quarter veneered rectangular top with bands of kingwood and amaranth, having ormolu moulded edge, with leather lined slide and a fitted end drawer, on cabriole legs with rocaille clasps and sabots.

Repairs to some veneers on legs, mounts appear to be original, worm holes to carcase, small repair to top, small spot of verdigris to edge mount, lock to drawer a little loose, key present, retains original silver mounted copper inkwell and another similar fitment, leather to slide has age, though may not be original.
