In our opinion, the tourmaline of orangey-pinkish-purple hue with strong saturation, some typical inclusions and nicks to facet junctions. The diamonds are bright and lively, probably of H to J colour and VS to SI clarity, as gauged and graded within the limitations of the cutting style and the mounting.

The mounting displays minor scratches and scuffs commensurate with age and wear.

The ring is of good workmanship with signs of wear consistent with age and use, not noticeable when worn.
