A RARE CHINESE PALE WHITE JADE 'MYTHICAL BEAST' FORM CENSER, QING DYNASTY (1644 - 1911)
It's with a fitted box.

Censers of this mythical beast form are extremely rare. A gilt-splashed bronze example of similar form was sold at Christie¡¯s Hong Kong, 1 June 2011, lot 3948. Jade examples are of exceptional rarity, and no other published example of this form appears to be recorded.

清 白玉雕甪端玉熏爐
此類甪端香爐極為罕見。此瑞獸象征光明正大，吉祥太平，常被用於宮廷與書房陳設。一件相似造型之灑金銅例，見香港佳士得，2011年6月1日，拍品3948。玉雕同類器尤為稀少，迄今未見其他著錄例。
