An exceptionally rare Viennese eight day scarlet tortoiseshell and ormolu mounted table clock, circa 1770, triple fusee, with perpetual calendar, full calendar moon phase, Grande Sonnerie striking, with multiple dials and apertures, 66cm high

Clock movement is in very good condition, all original.
Serviced & timed.
Case:
Figural finial and bun feet replaced later, not original.
Minor restorations to tortoiseshell case, and crazing to tortoiseshell overall consistent with age.
Minor wear to ormolu mounts.
Hairline cracks to several enamel dials.
Compression to one side of the rotating moon sphere, with overpainting visible. Wear to sphere overall.
Gilt mounts to case all orginial.
