18TH CENTURY, CIRCA 1780

The rectangular upper body mounted with pierced steel escutcheons, the fall front door opening to multiple bone inlaid drawers and doors.

Overall condition is consistent with age. The stand not original to the vargueno. The vargueno has numerous cracks and signs of lifting accross the top and side panels. The right hand handle is loose, signs of old borer throughout, and losses to one carved finial on the base. The interior of the vargueno shows minor losses to the woodwork and banded inlay.
