A FINE 18CT GOLD OPENFACE QUARTER REPEATING OPENFACE POCKETWATCH WITH THREE STRIKING JACQUEMARTS CIRCA 1815 BEARING SIGNATURE 'BREGUET ET FILS'
Dial: skeletonised with white enamel chapter ring, Arabic numerals, outer minute ring, blued Breguet style hands, two vari-colour Jacquemarts putti either side of the chapter ring, a further Jacquemart in the form of a putto to the base of the dial, all three figures each striking a bell in unison with the polished steel repeating work partially visible beneath dial
Movement: gilt full plate verge, plain three-arm balance, decoratively pierced and engraved balance bridge, key wind, key set
Case: polished hinged, engine-turned case back, repeat and automaton activated via plunge pendant, gilt cuvette
Dimensions: 55mm diameter, estimated total weight 133.9 grams
Signed: 'Breguet & Fils' to dial and cuvette
Accessories: with winding key
