Designed as an articulated collar composed as a line of engraved sphinx cartouche chain links decorated to the front with a carved lapis lazuli scarab within a split frame pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds and circular-cut emeralds, flanked by similar motifs centring a carved quartz scarab, the emeralds and diamonds together weighing approximately 2.24 carats and 0.35 carats respectively, mounted in 18ct gold, inner circumference 380mm, gross weight approximately 45.1 grams.
Accompanied by a facsimile Robert Clerc receipt numbered 6578, dated 15 April 1993.
