Overall condition is excellent with all stones secure in their settings. Both earrings in good condition and earrings and brooch fittings easily changed with tool provided and secure. Earrings clip fitting in excellent working condition and are secure when closed. The brooch fittings are also in excellent working condition with additional safety feature. Barrel clasps and secure when closed. Some of the rubies are chipped on the back of the gems on one has a large piece missing disguised by another piece of ruby. So there is evidence of a well done repair. Originally could have been worn as three distinct pieces a single brooch, a pair of brooches and a pair of earrings. The fitting to combine the two brooches into one was lost by the current owner whilst moving. Purchased in the Burlington arcade London Circa 1980.
