The figure of Judith the beheader of Holofernes, depicted in a resolute mood grasping her sword, her head and shoulders, arms and feet of carved ivory, with headdress and robe cast in patinated bronze, mounted upon a tiered marble base, incised signature verso, 32.5cm high.
