A fine quality Victorian gilt metal mounted ebonised and amboyna credenza
Circa 1870

The rectangular breakfront body in the neoclassical manner, with pronounced corners and a central single door inlaid with a Classical urn motif, bordered by laurels and foliate scrolls, flanked to each side by glazed doors, the whole inlaid with contrasted ebonised bands and panels, edged in fine ormolu beading and rams headed ormolu mounts raised on a moulded base and squat bun feet, 182 x 108 x 43 cm.
