The tapered stem of ebony with carved ivory panels to top and bottom , the top depicting musical instruments and with a later sterling silver dedication sheild applied to the ebony " Presented to W.Bennett , by the Granville P.M choir , 11.7.89 ", makers mark Herbert Bushnell, Birmingham, circa 1881, 43.5 cm long.
