A French cut brass inlaid and ormolu salon clock
Circa 1890

The shaped and waisted case with steeple top inlaid throughout with cut brass motifs and ormolu bracketing, the central dial of ormolu and an enamel chapter ring with Roman numerals and blue steel hands, all raised on ormolu scrolled feet, stamped to the backplate AD.MOUGIN, DEUX MEDAILLES, 34cm high.
