Makers mark J E Terrey & Co, London circa 1823
The three piece set comprising a teapot of squat bombe form decorated with a chased foliate and bulrush motif repeated in the round all drawn towards a figural spout cast as a bacchanalian figure and with a relief floral finial to the recessed lid, the cream jug and twin handled sugar bowl of a corresponding form also with a matching chased pattern, stamped to side and base, 1560 grs. total silver weight, the teapot 25cm wide.
