OTHER NOTES
David Kelly, law student, was born at Hamilton, Mass. on 11 February, 1841. He joined the 50th Mass. Inf. on 21 August, 1862 as Q.M. Sgt, served during assault on Port Hudson in 1863 and was discharged on 24 August, 1863. He then served with the 60th Mass Inf. from 18 July, 1864 to 30 November, 1864.

After the war Kelly worked as a lawyer in various different locations including Haverhill, Mass. Great Bay, Wisconsin, London and California. He married twice. He is believed to have died in 1916, aged 75 years.
