W. Richardson 73rd Regt., N.I.'; Punjab Medal 1845, impressed to rim 'Captn. W. Richardson, 73rd Bengal N.I.; Indian General Service Medal 1854 with one bar for Bhootan, impressed to rim 'Lt. Col. Richardson 44th Regt. N.I.'; with miniature for C.B.; and related original documents including:

- Grant for the C.B. dated 4 November 1863
- Commission to the rank of Major General, Honorary Rank, dated 22 June, 1869
- Commission to the rank of Colonel, dated 15 April, 1867
