Notes: George Korody was a Hungarian-born architect and university lecturer who in addition to making furniture also founded in the late 1940s the most enduring of Australian design stores Artes Studios.Karody's work is usually identified by his exclusive use of scented satinwood, a native timber found only in Eastern Australia.
