Work is accompanied by a stand which displays an illustrated legend of the painting with the following text: The 'South Australian Mural', commissioned by the Myer Centre, Adelaide, is the largest artwork to be permanently exhibited in South Australia by the legendary artist, Pro Hart.
The Mural, measuring 6 x [1.5] metres portrays the history of South Australia and is divided into four panels, each of which were progressively completed by Pro Hart at public sittings here at the Myer Centre in March 1993.
