The Hayshed
linocut
edition 7/50
20.5 x 25cm

Estimate $600 - $800

Sold for $750

Framed and glazed artwork is in fair condition.
Some areas to note:
Light foxing on mount along right and bottom edges.
Slight overall yellowing of paper and fading of print around darker areas of the shed, outline of fence, logs and tree.
Mount burn apparent between mount and printed image.
Some scattered brown spotting throughout with a cluster of brown spots centre right between lower tree branch and fence.
Gentle wave in paper suggests artwork is not glued down.
The cream grainy textured mount sits in a thin square profile dark timber frame circa 1950's.
