design introduced c.1951, moulded ply with outswept arms, raised on hardwood outswept legs, re-upholstered in buttoned red vinyl over original gold fabric, both with 'Grant Featherston manufactured by Kennet Bros & Rayner' metal labels to bases; with original sales receipt dated 1959 from 'Featherston Contract Interiors'; and a copy of a photograph taken c. 1970 showing the two armchairs in their original gold cloth upholstery
