A PAIR OF CHINESE IVORY FIGURES, EMPEROR AND EMPRESS
carved as seated on the throne in royal costume. The Empress is holding gift box in right hand, she wears a robe with detailed with lishui waves at the border, and a beaded necklace, the emperor holds his necklace in his hand. He wears a dragon robe, with scrolling cloud motifs. Detailed in part with traces of black pigment to the beard, eyes hair and hats, 22cm high
