of square-form, surmounted with a well-carved muscular, crouching dragon, or mythical horned beast, with curled tail, striped belly, talons and fangs, with an inscription incised to one side, the seal chop face carved in relief to the base with archaic seal script, the amber-coloured stone with a smooth finish, 8cm x8cm x13cm

Catalogue Note: Shoushan dong is a superior type of soapstone.
