LATE MING DYNASTY, 17TH CENTURY

with an elegant floriate diadem set upon her head, the cord draped across her torso and tied at the waist, adorned with a floral necklace, armlets and bracelets, with slender fingers, seated at ease in cross-legged pose, set upon a naturalistic base, traces of gold pigment, 135 cm high (natural wear and loss of pigment)
Provenance: Purchased in Hong Kong in 2006; Ex private collection Hong Kong prior to 2010
