Of typical form, with a shagreen tsuka, joining to a cherry blossom decorated tsuba, the sword housed in a leather saya, 96cm total length
Provenance: The vendor's father was an Australian Z special unit member, and was awarded the sword after capturing three Japanese soldiers in WWII

Losses to shagreen on tsuka in places, the leather saya has visible losses consistent with age and use, including a break to the leather measuring approximately 8-9cm long, the stress of the break has also lead to unstitching in the seam beside the break. Wear also visible to blade
the blade measures 64cm long
