AN ANTERIOR AND POSTERIOR HORN FROM AN EASTERN BLACK RHINOCEROS, ON AN ORGANIC PRESENTATION BASE
the posterior horn approximately 1358gmsm 27cm long; the anterior horn approximately 1710gms, 49cm long, housed on a rhinoceros skull base

Provenance: harvested on the farm of the original owner, (now deceased), in Kenya circa 1950s and brought to Australia when the owner emigrated in 1964. Bequeathed to the current owner in 1985; accompanied by a radiocarbon dating certificate from the ANSTO, a statutory declaration from the vendor outlining the provenance of the horns, together with a statutory declaration from the original owner confirming the history of the horns.

Note relating to CITES legislation: purchasers wishing to export this item will be required to obtain the appropriate documentation from the Australian Department of Environment and further information may be required before export approval is granted.
