Lot 408

A 19th CENTURY WASHSTAND
Mahogany with central door
92h x 80w x 46d

Estimate $200 - $300

Sold for $200

The overall finish of this mahogany wash stand is very good, retaining its original veneers. However, the veneer on the underside of the hinged lid shows signs of fraying, and the joinery of the edging is slightly separated at the corners. There also appears to be a superficial split and loss to the veneer on the left side panel, albeit consistent with the grain. Makes for a rustic finish.
