There is cracking and crazing throughout the surface. There is some warping to the canvas in the upper right corner. Some of the cracking lines are potentially impact lines from a previous stretcher. The work has some light areas which may be from cleaning or restoration attempts and the centre point on her forhead where her hair parts appears restored. The frame is in good condition with some chips and cracks throughout, consistent with age.
