SYDNEY LONG (1871-1955)
Pan 1916
auqatint etching
signed lower right
28 x 41cm

Estimate $1,000 - $1,500

Sold for $9,500

This overall condition of this work is fair, consistent with its age. There are a few minor spots of foxing. The paper has browned throughout over time. There is a tear in the upper right and upper left section which appear to have been restored previously. The colours appear strong. The work is housed in thin a timber frame with a gold inner lining and a cream mount. It has not been examined out of its frame so we are unsure if its stuck down.
