JOHN GOULD (1804-1881) (LOCATION SYDNEY OFFICE - all enquiries phone 02 9362 9045)
Cacatua Triton (Triton Cockatoo)
hand-coloured lithograph
54 x 35.5cm

Estimate $1,500 - $2,500

Unsold

This work has very visible spotting throughout. The paper appears discoloured and is waving along the borders.

The frame is in good condition with minor marks consistent with age and use. The backing paper has minor signs of spotting and there is some vivible spotting on the mount and the inside of the glass. It would certainly benefit from a clean and re-mounting.

The text page and certificate of provenance are in plastic covers and attached to the verso. The text page has significant spotting and certificate has minor spotting.

Please note that this work was not removed from the frame in order to conduct this condition report.
