Lot 3060
Gears for Mining Industry, Vickers Ruwolt Burnley, Vic
silver gelatin print
49 x 39cm
Estimate $7,000 - $9,000
Work is in good condition overall. No foxing, staining, tears or pigment loss is evident in the work. Work is not framed, however the paper sits under a fresh white mount and backboard for protection. The work is stuck down to the backing board, possibly intentionally done by the artist as the signature and title details are featured on the mount. There appears to be a small area in the lower left corner where the artist )or unknown hand) has hand coloured an area (only visible in light reflection). Please note the minor imprefections which are only visible up close.
