Lot 341
Depicting a female deity, mounted on an ebonised stand, 71cm total height
Estimate $1,200 - $1,800
This item is in fair to good condition, especially considering its age.
This item was previously an architectural carving, so obviously there are major losses, especially to the proper left of the statue.
There are minor abrasions and losses to the stone throughout. This includes the nose and inner thigh of the figure. These abrasions appear to be of the period, not recent. Furthermore, the abrasions are stable and not flakeing.
There are not any noticeable signs of cracks to the stone.
Please consult additional images for more information about specific losses.
Dimensions are approximately 31 cm wide, 67 cm high and 17.5 cm deep.
