Tobacco Pipe, Cherrybark & Silver Box & Card/ Cigarette case. Bamboo kiseru (tobacco pipe) with brass and cloisonne mounts. The card holder depicting theme of the 'foxes wedding'. Tobacco box with inset silver panel featuring engraved and inlaid decoration of carp swimming upstream. Also including a silver and mixed metal box. Signed with inscription - Kiyotomo's Grandson Hanzan. Featuring takaramono (treasured objects) associated with Shichi-fuku-jin, or Seven Deities of Luck - Daikoku's mallet, Hat of invisibility, Jar of coins and the flaming jewel of Buddhist law. Shakudo and gold addition to top of birds and flora.
