The body thickly enamelled and gilt with overlapping fan and flowerhead shaped panels filled with various flowers and butterflies beneath a blue ground collar filled with chrysanthemum and scrolling tendrils, signed Satsuma Yaki Tomonobu in gilt beneath blue Shimazu mon to base, 37.5 x 22cm
