Provenance: Belonging to William Percy Wilkinson, hence by decent to his grandson Bill Wilkinson, who bequeathed it to the current owner.
Note: W. P Wilkinson was one of the first Federal Government Analytical chemists. W. P Wilkinson was also well travelled, spoke seven languages fluently and as a favoured guest of the Meiji emporerer, he travelled extensively through Japan and China during 1900-1910.
