Lot 48
Wunkartu 2001
acrylic on linen
inscribed verso with artist's name and Warlayirti Artists' cat no. 692/01
120 x 80 cm
Estimate $2,400 - $3,400
The painting is in good condition overall. There are minor hairline cracks in several areas of pigment, mostly in those areas of built up texture. These cracks however do not appear to have resulted in any losses. The edges of the canvas show minor signs of wear, as with age.
The opinions expressed in the condition reports are a guide only and should not be treated as a statement of fact. Prospective buyers are encouraged to inspect articles for sale at our pre-sale viewing where Leonard Joel staff are available for advice.
