The hourglass-shaped vase tightly waisted, with flaring foot and mouth rim, decorated overall with borders and oval reserves with scrolling poppies of intricate silver inlay, contrasting against the darkened metal ground, the basin with similar decoration, but in the form of a compressed globular jar with widely flaring mouth, with a pierced lid fitting the mouth.
