A PAIR OF CHINESE INSCRIBED IRON RED DECORATED BOWLS
QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK

The bowls inscribed on the exterior in iron red with a poem describing the making of a special tea, dated 1746 within the inscription, all between two ruyi borders, the interior decorated with a roundel of Buddha's hand fruit, pine and plum blossom, being a depiction of the contents of the tea. Six character seal mark to base.

Appears to be no visible faults or damage to either bowl. One bowl is exhibits a slightly darker iron red enamel than the other bowl. One or both of the bowls possibly 20th century.
