EARLY 20TH CENTURY

Composed of two lacquered and gilt wood book covers with elaborate designs . The manuscript leaves of gilt lacquered palm leaf, with Pali script in deep brown lacquer.

Consistent sized holes drilled into middle on 1st 1/5 of the panel. Minor discolouration on some of the black wrighting. 2nd panel from top, bottom right hand corner missing. 3rd panel, chip on bottom left hand edge. 5th panel from the top, left hand corner missing, minor chip on top right hand corner. 6th panel from the top, chip on bottom right hand corner
