Both of baluster form with pedestal foot, with moulded decoration of diaper patterns and scrolling foliage and petal borders, the larger vase covered with a pale blue glaze, the smaller with a pale greyish-blue glaze.

The larger vase with a small chip to the foot-rim, two miniscule glaze chips to the mouth-rim, fine glaze crackle throughout, some glaze degradation and loss particularly to the lower part of the vase, with staining from red soil due to burial.
