A CHINESE ARCHAIC STYLE NEPHRITE JADE CONG
20TH CENTURY

The colour of the cong ranging from pale celadon to brown and russet, carved with archaistic motifs including spirals. Together with a fitted wooden stand and old padded box, and original receipt.
VIEW IN MELBOURNE
The jade, 10.3cm high, 6.6cm diameter, with stand 13.2cm high.

Sold for $1,400

The jade with natural fissures and small flaws, the padded box word and with one clasp missing.
