FOUR SOUTHERN CHINESE MIAO BABY CARRIER PANELS
EARLY 20TH CENTURY

One intricately embroidered with silk in different square and rectangular registers of design with multiple techniques of embroidery in curvilinear archaistic decoration. Together with three batik baby carrier panels, one with extremely fine batik work further embellished with multicoloured silk embroidery, another with three colour batik curvilinear design in white indigo and pink, the last panel of indigo batik without further decoration.
