The conical bowl with six notches to the rim, with incised decoration of three roundels of stylised phoenix, covered with a glaze of greyish blue hue. Together with a Japanese wooden box with a paper label.
VIEW IN MELBOURNE
6cm high, 17.5cm diameter.
Estimate $600 - $800
Short firing crack to the rim filled with glaze. A hairline crack emanating from the mouth rim, and a further short hairline crack to the body near the foot. Scratches to the interior from use.
