MING DYNASTY, 15TH/16TH CENTURY

The finely detailed bronze figure seated in padmasana on a double lotus base, wearing a five-pointed crown and beaded jewellery to the torso, covered in gilt lacquer.

The tip of the sword missing, one of the ribbons attached to the left elbow showing possible old repair, some small dents throughout, a small area of cracking of the bronze to the rear of the lotus base, wear to the lacquer gilt in parts, some denting and small losses to the lotus base to one part of the front.
