19TH CENTURY

The box of octagonal form, decorated to the sides with the taegyuk symbol and bats, constructed of pieces of red, black and cream coloured paper with a lacquered finish. Together with two Choson dynasty white porcelain vessels including a small bowl and a high-fotted offering stand.
