15TH/16TH CENTURY OR EARLIER
The goddess seated in padmasana with a benevolent smile, with four arms holding a noose and other attributes, wearing an elaborate crown, jewellery, a very detailed dhoti, inset with small red gems. The figure is without a base, indicating it could have been the central figure in a mandala. The bronze is of high copper content.
