19TH CENTURY
Made in dark lacquered elm, in four pieces probably for travelling. Consisting of a box frame with slats on top to allow air flow during the hot summer months, with balustrade surrounding three of the four sides, with carved dragon-form ends to the balustrade, the sides of the box-frames relief-carved with ruyi mushroom shaped reserves to each side.

One missing panel within the balustrade on the left-hand section, another damaged balustrade panel. Some minor restoration (reglueing) of the balustrade. Light scratches to the surface. One small missing section to the support of one of the inner sections.
