GORYEO DYNASTY, CIRCA 12TH CENTURY
The cup of globular form, inlaid to the exterior under the mouth-rim with a keyfret border in inlaid black slip, the footrim glazed but with three glaze sticks where the piece was fired on stilt supports, covered overall with an even olive-green glaze. Old Japanese gold lacquer repair to the rim.
