THREE CHINESE LONGQUAN VESSELS
SONG-MING DYNASTY

A shallow bowl with fluting to the cavetto and a wide rim, with a beautiful pale sea-green glaze (Southern Song Dynasty), together with a jarlet of compressed globular form with moulded decoration of scrolling flowers and two lug handles (Yuan Dynasty), and a stemcup (Yuan/Ming Dynasty).

The bowl with an area of restoration to the rim, with an associated hairline crack running along the cavetto and through part of the base. A small restored chip to the footrim. Some cracking to the glaze. The jarlet with a couple of very small chips to the base from the firing, some wear to the glaze through normal use. The stemcup with an area to the rim which is rough, probably a glaze stick, ground down. Another area to the side of the vessel with some roughness, probably also a glaze stick that's been ground down.
