A CARVED CHINESE FIGURAL GROUP WITH GUAN YIN
LATE QING/REPUBLIC PERIOD

An exceptionally finely carved porcelain figural group depicting Guanyin standing within a rocky grotto, robes billowing and glancing serenly at two young worshippers below, the grotto detailed with carved applique bamboo branches, the pond below with water creatures.

Various small losses to the piece including to the Guanyin's hands, and parts of the rocky grotto. No further cracks restorations or damage visible.
