A SINO-TIBETAN COVERED SILVER CUP STAND
19TH CENTURY

The cupstand and cover of finely chased repousse silver decorated with the eight precious Buddhist emblems, Buddhist scenes and Buddhistic lions amongst scrolling foliage, together with a Chinese blue and white porcelain cup decorated with scrolling Indian lotus.
The cup and stand together 20cm high, 14cm diameter

Estimate $500 - $700

Sold for $550

Silver in good condition. Blue and white tea bowl with a crescent shaped firing crack near the rim, with a small stress crack running through the firing crack. Old wear from normal use.
